All the classes include 2kg of clay, firing costs, access to over 30 different underglaze colours, and a wide range of Amaco Potters Choice glaze, tea/coffee.

For anyone who would like to learn the basics of hand building. Absolute no experience necessary! We will cover pinching, slab building, coiling, and a range of decoration skills. Expect a fun and relaxed environment where you will be guided as well as encouraged to put your own personality into your creations.

For who has completed a beginner class (either at Kōwhai Art Studio or at any other pottery place). We won't be running a structured 'lesson by lesson' class, instead you can work on your own ideas and I can help as and when you need. Expect a fun and relaxed environment where we learn from each other and have a laugh.
